The objective of PASO Flanders is to map out contemporary trends in human resource management and the organization of work. The focus is on the impact of HRM practices and policies and organizational dynamics on the functioning of internal and external labour markets and on changes in job and qualification structures. The panel survey is organized on a yearly basis and covers over 2000 Flemish organizations (at establishment level). It has a broad scope focusing not only on privately owned companies, but also on 'not for profit' organizations and the public sector. All organizational sizes are included in the survey.
This panel study is organized in association with the Department of Sociology (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), the Higher Institute for Labour Studies, the University of Antwerp and IDEA Consult. The project is funded by the Flemish Minister of Employment and Tourism, the Flemish Minister of Economy, Foreign Policy and E-Government and the European Social Fund.
