| The European Finance Association (EFA) was created in 1974 under the auspices of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) and in close cooperation with the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM - http://www.eiasm.be).
The aim of the Association is to provide a professional society of academicians and practitioners with an interest in financial management, financial theory and its application. EFA serves as a focal point of communication for its members residing in Europe and abroad. It also provides a framework for better dissemination of information and exchange at the international level. | ![]() |
